1. Free Trial
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. You can explore every feature of your chosen plan risk-free before any charge is made.
If you decide FirstAidLog is not right for you during the trial period, simply do not add a payment method. Your account will automatically revert to limited access at the end of the trial — no action required and no charge will be made.
2. No Refunds After the Trial Period
Once your free trial ends and your first payment is processed, we do not provide refunds for:
- The current billing period (monthly or annual) — regardless of how much of the period you have used
- Unused seats, sites, or kit capacity within your plan
- Plan upgrades or changes made mid-period
- Periods where your account was inactive or not accessed
This applies to all subscription tiers: Solo, Inspector, Pro, Business, and Enterprise.
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). If a statutory guarantee applies to a supply of our service and cannot be excluded, we will provide a remedy as required by law. To make a consumer guarantee claim, please contact us at support@firstaidlog.com.
3. Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months at a discounted rate (equivalent to approximately 2 months free compared to the monthly rate).
- No pro-rata refunds — if you cancel an annual plan mid-term, you will not receive a refund for the remaining unused months.
- Access continues until the end of the paid annual period. You will not be charged again if you have cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation — cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Upgrades mid-year — upgrading to a higher plan mid-annual-period applies a prorated credit towards the new plan cost. The new annual rate applies from the upgrade date.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Go to Settings → Subscription in the app and tap Cancel Plan
- Your access to all paid features continues until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged again after cancellation
- Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted
- You can re-subscribe at any time — your previous data may not be recoverable after the 30-day retention window
Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining period, as set out in sections 2 and 3 above.
5. Billing Errors & Disputes
If you believe you have been charged in error — for example, charged after cancellation, charged twice, or charged an incorrect amount — please contact us promptly and we will investigate.
How to raise a billing dispute
- Email support@firstaidlog.com with the subject line: Billing dispute
- Include your account email address, the charge amount, and the date it appeared on your statement
- We will respond within 2 business days and, if the charge was made in error, issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
Billing is processed by Stripe. If you have difficulty reaching us, you may also raise a dispute through your bank or card issuer at any time.
